Nestled between Union Square’s world class shopping district and the Moscone Convention Center, The Mosser is ideally situated at Fourth and Market streets in the heart of downtown San Francisco, within walking distance to some of the city’s most famed attractions.
History
- Opened in 1913 as the Keystone Hotel, this historic property has offered a delightful experience to Bay Area visitors for over 100 years!
- In 1981, Charles W. Mosser purchased the hotel and, after a multi-million dollar renovation in 2003, he renamed it The Mosser.
- Like San Francisco, The Mosser offers a unique, free-spirited culture mixed with the splendor of yester-year. This is apparent in the fusion of Victorian architecture and modern interior design.
- The Mosser family is a strong supporter of the reforestation of the rain forests, literacy, and various educational projects.
